NATHAN ADRIAN COMMITS TO PLAY AT WVU

The Mountaineers receive their first commitment in the 2013 basketball recruiting class and they didn’t have to go too far to get it. Morgantown High School forward Nathan Adrian says he is going to play for Bob Huggins and WVU.
Adrian was on WVU’s campus on an unofficial visit along with two other potential recruits. The Morgantown native helped lead the Mohigans to the West Virginia Class AAA state semi-finals as a sophomore. The 6-foot-8 forward is a 3-star prospect by many recruiting services.

CONGRATULATIONS NATHAN ADRIAN
It came as no surprise to many of us, today, as Nathan Adrian accepted a basketball scholarship to WVU. He has long wanted to play for the Mountaineers, and with a lot of hard work and a growth spurt which has him at 6'9 and growing, it has become possible.
"He is long and has many skills that Coach Huggins will use, said Coach Yester. "Hopefully, Nathan will work hard and develop into the kind of player that Coach Huggins needs."
Nate has worked as hard as any player we have had here at MHS this fall, and if he keeps the effort up, I have no doubt he will be a terrific Big East player," said Coach Hoffman. "People will be impressed when they get to see him in December."
Nathan will be a junior on this year's Mohigan basketball team.
