Zach Spiker is in his sixth year as Army’s head basketball coach.

Zach played college basketball at Ithaca College in upstate New York. A point guard by trade, he can be remembered at MHS, dazzling fans with his unselfish play and will to win.

Zach is the first Mohigan player to become a division one coach as he was an assistant at Winthrop University in Rock Hill, South Carolina and worked with Coach John Beilein at WVU. Zach was formally assistant coach at Cornell University.

UPDATE: Game Notes: Mac Hoffman hit his first three-pointer of the season to become the 12th different Army player to make a three in 2015-16 … Army has made at least 10 threes in 11 of 13 games this season … head coach Zach Spiker became the first coach in Army basketball history to win 10 games in seven straight seasons … Army improved to 10-3 for the second straight season … Spiker won his 93rd career game and moved past Les Wothke into third on the Academy's all-time wins list … Tanner Plomb recorded his third straight 20-point game … it was the 19th 20-point performance in his career and eighth this season … Plomb has scored in double figures in 23 straight games dating back to last season … Plomb moved past Derrick Canada '90 and Darryle Kouns '59 into 25th on the Academy's all-time scoring list (1,088) … Kyle Wilson became the fifth player in Army history to reach the 1,700-point mark (1,716 career points) … Kevin Ferguson moved into a tie with Ed Weaver '54 for 10th in Academy history in career rebounds (557) … Army improved to 10-0 this season when leading at halftime … the Black Knights are 32-3 during the Spiker era when holding a double-digit halftime lead … Army moved to 9-1 when winning the rebounding battle this season.
