Coach Jeff Hoffman is in his fifteenth season as the MHS jayvee coach and assistant varsity coach. Hoff started his coaching career at East Fairmont High and its feeder schools in 1982. He coached both boys and girls basketball before the move to Morgantown in 1993. His overall scholastic record is 409-70. His overall record at Morgantown High is 258-38. Jeff has had an impact on off-season basketball in Morgantown, helping to organize Youth basketball leagues and tournaments.

Hoff currently teaches at Cheat Lake Middle School and is a seventeen year veteran in the Monongalia County school system. He received his undergraduate degree from Fairmont State College in 1985 and his masters from WVU in 1989.
